About The Position
Job Title : Physical Therapist Outpatient Job Specialty : Physical Therapy Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (07 : 00 - 15 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Travelers can be called off once per pay period or once every two weeks.
Remaining shifts are guaranteed. Experience : Minimum of 1 year of experience required License : State Compact License must be in hand at submission Certifications : COVID-19 Vaccine required (Medical / Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed);
Flu Vaccine status unknown Must-Have : - Commitment to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)- A minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment total within the last three years in a comparable specialty / setting- Ability to complete pre-start and annual modules averaging 16 hours Job Description : Provide physical therapy services to patients in a short-term acute care facility.
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1 : 1 and deliver personalized care.- Orientation includes 40 non-billable hours.- Completion of required modules and maintaining up-to-date training.
- No weekend work required.- Not expected to float between like units or sister facilities unless necessary.- Must be able to work a block schedule depending on facility needs.
- Will be provided necessary communication devices to perform duties effectively. - Applicants with pending licenses will not be considered.
Additional Details : The facility has a total of 61 staff beds.- Traveler's permanent address cannot be within 50 miles of the facility.
