The Department of Transportation and Public Works has an immediate opening for an Assistant Division Manager Operations & Facilities. The well qualified candidate will bring the following experience to this role : operations oversight, technical / engineering expertise, emergency response, and staff supervision, with a strong emphasis on facilities systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection). Core responsibilities include :

• Assisting the Division Manager in planning, overseeing and administering a specialized engineering function.
• Assisting the major with all engineering projects in the County Division distinguishes this job class from P355-Supervisor, Project Managers.

The typical starting salary will be between $43.28 - $51.94 hourly and will be based on experience and budget considerations.
