Job Summary :
Middletown Chevrolet is seeking an experienced Automotive Salesperson to join our team in Middletown, Connecticut.
This is a full-time position, with a base salary plus commission, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
As an individual contributor, you will be responsible for generating sales by providing exceptional customer service and promoting our vehicles.

Responsibilities :
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Understand and communicate features and benefits of new and used vehicles
- Conduct thorough vehicle walk-arounds and test drives with potential customers
- Close sales by overcoming objections and negotiating prices
- Manage and maintain an active customer database
- Meet and exceed personal and dealership sales goals
- Stay up-to-date on new products, features, and accessories
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through follow-up calls and emails
- Collaborate with sales team and other departments to provide exceptional customer service
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a New vehicle franchise automotive dealership.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to deliver a high level of customer service
- Knowledge of current automotive industry trends and technology
- Proficient in computer skills and CRM systems
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
