We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Real Estate Manager based in the Indianapolis, IN area.
General Responsibilities
- Responsible for generating new locations in assigned territory (Indiana and Kentucky)
- Driving markets, generating lists of available sites and calling on property owners
- Manage local brokers to implement market strategy and identify sites
- Prepare, tour and present real estate packages to executive team
- Negotiate LOIs, Purchase / Sale Agreements in collaboration with legal teams to acceptable standards
- Provide professional real estate expertise within the specified market
- Participate in weekly calls and meetings with corporate via conference calls and in person
Work Schedule + Benefits
- Full-time, Exempt
- 50 hours
- Travel time : 80% of the time will be spent in the field; will require occasional overnight travel for territory management and various meetings.
Remainder of your time, work from your home office.
- Occasional travel to the corporate office in Nashville area for meetings and check-ins
- Benefits available including medical and dental
- Main office location is in the Nashville area
Qualifications
- College Degree preferred but not required
- 1-5 years demonstrated experience in :
- Retail real estate development in Indiana and Kentucky
- Site selection / deal making experience in the retail / service industry
- Business and Negotiation acumen in real estate; Demonstrated deal making ability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, and strong relationship skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Creative problem solving abilities and outstanding organizational skills
- Tech savvy; Strong computer proficiency; Excellent in MS Office applications and GIS applications
- Strong attention to detail and good time management
- Highly motivated, self-starter
