Location
Our West Campus is located at 2400 Gillionville Road, Albany, GA 31707. Our East Campus is located at 504 College Drive, Albany, GA 31705. The Human Resources office for both campuses is located on the West Campus in Building K, Suite 111.
Job Summary
The Access Services Specialist & Office Assoc. performs job duties related to Circulation services, including but not limited to; charging, discharging, and renewing library materials, receiving and processing reserves and system-level hold requests; routing inter-handling the book-drops and hourly patron headcount. Trained to maintain and weed the Textbook and Main Collection, library inventory, reconditioning of the Main Collection shelves and will maintain daily statistics using the Desk Tracker Software. The employee will also complete monthly statistics for the Unit's end of year reports on the Library¿s Circulation Collection.

Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
Two years of computer or library experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience is required.
Experience in Library Integrated System and Technology.
Advanced computer skills are required.
Must have the ability to type and operate personal computers is required.
Some evening and weekend duties are required.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree preferred.
Experience in an academic library support position desirable.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook Express, Excel, Power Point, Publisher and Access.
Must be able to type 30 wpm correctly.

Knowledge of Internet and www; demonstrated commitment to customer service and ability to work collaboratively.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Participate in staff training activities.
Develop, plan and produce monthly departmental reports.
