Center Director
As a Center Director, you will play a key role in fostering the growth and development of both children and teachers, creating a collaborative and thriving learning environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify, schedule, and interview potential teacher candidates while building a pipeline of future talent.
- Conduct classroom observations and evaluations, providing motivating feedback to encourage continuous improvement.
- Lead your team to ensure the TLE curriculum is executed with excellence and adheres to brand standards.
- Use a growth mindset to train, coach, and develop staff for long-term success.
- Address employee concerns with an objective approach and create action plans as needed.
- Build and manage weekly schedules to maintain optimal classroom ratios.
- Oversee the completion of new hire paperwork and ensure employee files comply with state licensing regulations.
- Strategically manage labor and scheduling to ensure appropriate ratios are maintained while staying within budget.
Customer Focus :
- Lead tours for prospective families, showcasing the unique aspects of our curriculum, teacher quality, and center environment.
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and ensure exceptional parent experiences.
- Execute key events like "Show and Tell" and other family engagement activities.
- Maintain accurate records and files for students and staff in compliance with local and state licensing regulations.
- Ensure the physical environment and health / safety standards meet all licensing requirements.
- Build strong relationships with state licensors and oversee center evaluations and compliance.
- Manage incident reporting, medication administration, and conduct monthly safety drills.
- Oversee the administration of new customer files to ensure regulatory compliance.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of one year of center leadership or management experience (two or more years preferred).
- Professional teaching experience with infants to preschool-aged children is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of state licensing regulations.
- CPR and First Aid Certification is highly preferred.
- Must meet state-specific qualifications.
