Description
The Minnesota State Fair Police Department is hiring licensed officers for the 2024 fair. Come join officers from around the state for Minnesota's largest 12-day event!
Officers Must :
- Be currently employed as a peace officer in Minnesota.
- Have permission from their home department to wear their uniform at the fair.
- Be available to work either : 1) a minimum of eight consecutive days or 2) four days both weekends between August 22 - September 2, 2024.
Exceptions to the listed requirements will be considered on a case-by-case basis with prior approval from the Chief of Police.
Day, afternoon, and midnight tours available.
Officers hired for the 2024 fair will have opportunities for seasonal work.
Hourly Rate : $40.00 per hour
Officers will qualify for :
- MSRS Retirement
- Overtime (over 40 hours in one week)
- Bonus Pay : Work 9 days of the 2024 fair including Labor Day weekend (8 / 30 - 9 / 2) and receive an additional $250.00 or work all 12 days of the 2024 fair and receive an additional $500.00
