Mop Barbershop has been located in Hilliard, OH for over 20 years. Our focus is on providing quality service and care to our local community.
Along with our clients, our stylists are our top priority with not only the opportunity to thrive in their careers but also caring about work-life balance.
With the shop being recently renovated, updated seasonal uniforms, and our stylists themselves we pride ourselves in continuing to bring in new customers by following trends and continuing to stay relevant.
At mop, we also take care of our equipment and facility providing a clean workspace for our stylists.
Job Summary
Specializing in clipper cuts and with an existing large client base, you will be joining a company with resources and additional training upon your hiring to ensure your success.
There are full-time and part-time positions available that require a valid cosmetology license and a positive mindset to participate in an inclusive, enthusiastic work environment.
A stylist should be comfortable in fast pace conditions with excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Opening and closing responsibilities : shared responsibility among stylists and additional training provided
- Remaining on schedule for appointment-based clients as well as learning our time-based system
- Maintaining clean workstations while providing service
Requirements
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A valid cosmetology license
- Open availability

Compensation
- Stylists average from $25.00 - $40.00 per hour, compensation rate will be determined based on experience, previous skills, and education
- Additional take-home pay for tips will be provided at the end of each shift
