CRD Careers has partnered with a leader in the Paper Packaging and Containers industry in their search for an Outside Sales Representative.
In this role you will be responsible for driving sales growth by building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients in the packaging industry.
This role focuses on selling a wide range of packaging products equipment and solutions to businesses across various industries.
In this role you will :
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to target new business within the assigned territory.
- Sell a full range of packaging products and equipment including custom and stock packaging solutions.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and quotas by identifying opportunities presenting solutions and closing deals.
- Conduct regular client visits to build and maintain strong relationships understand customer needs and offer tailored packaging solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams including customer service operations and supply chain to ensure successful order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) on packaging solutions providing guidance on product selection cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Stay uptodate with industry trends competitive landscape and new product developments.
- Participate in trade shows networking events and industry conferences.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
Requirements
What you need to succeed :
- Proven experience in outside sales ideally within the packaging industry.
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Familiarity with packaging products equipment and solutions is a plus.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
