Position Summary
Xylem is looking for an Expert Field Service Technician to service our customers in the Centennial, CO surrounding areas.
What your day will look like as a Field Service Technician
The Field Service Technician will be responsible for the installation, service, and maintenance of our water purification equipment, utilizing a company service vehicle, within our Light Industries Division.
Equipment specific training will be provided. Willing to train the right person, but previous technical / mechanical / plumbing experience is especially encouraged.
This position has general day shift hours with overtime opportunities and a compensated on-call rotation with occasional afternoons / weekends.

Core Responsibilities and Tasks
- Creates and maintains safe working environment and cultures within the organization
- Takes care of company property
- Works with more advanced and multi / complex systems
- Proactively trouble shoots systems for mechanical, electrical equipment conditions
- Anticipates and corrects safety issues both company and customer owned equipment
- May be responsible for work in multiple systems, locations or customers
- Provides coaching or training to entry-level technicians
Position Requirements
FORMAL EDUCATION : Required :
Required :
- HS diploma or equivalent
- Tech cert or degree or industry specific licenses
- Technical military background preferred
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE :
Required :
- Ability to obtain TWIC card
- 3-7 years technical experience including industrial or commercial process water experience
- Experience with Microsoft office including smart devices
- Must have customer service experience
- Demonstrates critical thinking and trouble shooting ability
- Able to operate company service vehicle safely
- Able to pass background check & pre-employment drug screen
