This fulltime position requires extended periods away from homeensuring timely deliveries and compliance with trafficlaws.
Responsibilities :
- Safelyoperate a commercial tractor / trailer unit within a designatedregion
- Ensuretimely and efficient delivery ofgoods
- Adhereto all traffic laws and companypolicies
- Conductpretrip and posttrip vehicleinspections
- Maintainaccurate logs of driving hours deliveries and vehiclemaintenance
- Communicateeffectively with dispatchers customers and otherdrivers
- Securecargo to prevent damage duringtransit
- Followsafety protocols and guidelines
Qualifications :
At least 21 years ofage
1 year of verifiabletractortrailer experience within the past 3 years OR 611 months ofdriving experience in the past year plus completion of an approvedCDL school
Pass companysphysical exam and drug and alcoholscreening
Valid Class A CDLwith Hazmatendorsement
Experience withtemperaturecontrolled cargo such as meat and produce(preferred)
