Today we are hiring aDirector of Valuation for our client in New YorkCity.
As aDirector of Valuation you will lead the valuation team ensuringhighquality service delivery to clients. This role involvesmanaging complex valuation projects and managing tax planning andother financial valuations.
In thisrole you will also work closely with senior management clients anda team of professionals to deliver expert financial analyses andreports.
An ideal candidate will have a proven track record ofsuccess in new business development demonstrating the ability toidentify and secure new opportunities build strong clientrelationships and drive revenue growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Lead and manage valuationengagements for various purposes including financial reporting taxcompliance mergers and acquisitions and strategicplanning.
- Develop and review complex financialmodels including discounted cash flow (DCF) analyses Option PricingModels (OPM) market multiple analyses and other valuationmethodologies.
- Prepare detailed valuationreports and present findings to clients andstakeholders.
- Analyze financial statementstransactions and business records to identify discrepancies andpotential issues.
- Prepare valuation reports insupport of litigation processes including providing experttestimony if required.
- Build and maintainstrong client relationships ensuring high levels of clientsatisfaction and retention.
- Identify andpursue new business opportunities including developing proposalsand leading business development initiatives to expand our clientbase.
- Develop and implement effective newbusiness strategies to achieve firm goals.
- Lead and mentor a team of valuation professionalsproviding guidance feedback and support to facilitate theirprofessional growth and development.
- Foster acollaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes teamworkinnovation and excellence.
QUALIFICATIONS : Education :
Education :
- Bachelors degree (BA / BS)in Accounting Finance Economics or a related field isrequired.
- MBA or CPA is preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CVA ABV ASA orsimilar credentials are aplus.

Experience :
- 12 years of experience inbusiness valuation with a demonstrated track record ofsuccess.
- Forensic accounting litigationsupport and expert testimony experience are a big plus.
- Strong business development experience is amust.
- Excellent analytical skills with theability to interpret complex financial data and communicatefindings effectively.
- Proven ability to managemultiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines whilemaintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills withthe ability to build rapport and credibility with clientscolleagues and other stakeholders.
Compensation :
Competitive annual salaryin the range of $180000 to $250000 based on individuals experience level.
