Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role :

• Review employee physical injury occurrences, blood / bodily fluid exposure incidents and maintains complete records
• Coordinates Workers' Compensation, Risk Management and Case Management of injured employees
• Responsible for employee education on rules and regulations regarding employee health, infection control and safety issues
• Manages Worker's Compensation and Employee Health programs in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory agencies
• Coordinates the employee immunization programs
• Medical Screenings for all new hires. Initiates and maintains health records. Ensures titers & other labs are performed per policy.

What you will need in this role :

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school
• Current State of Florida Registered RN License, or
• Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida Sate Licensing Requirements, including / not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
• Current BLS certification via American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Previous Employee Health, Occupational Health, and Workers Compensation Experience required

Our main campus is a 558-bed acute care facility. We are known for services including : emergency services, cardiovascular care, neurosciences and robotic surgery.

We offer orthopedic and spine care, bariatrics, behavioral health and obstetrics. HCA Florida JFK Hospital is a Joint Commission certified Primary Stroke Center.

We are a certified Ventricular Assist Device program. We are an American College of Cardiology Chest Pain Center. Our hospital is an American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer accredited Comprehensive Community Cancer Program.

We offer two off-site ERs in Palm Beach Gardens and West Boynton Beach. They provide the same emergency treatment for adults and children.

We are located in the city of Atlantis. We are near the coastal cities of Lake Worth and Boynton Beach. We are by the beach, restaurants and shopping.
