The Position
The Restoration Project Manager oversees multiple water damage, fire damage & reconstruction crews for quality control, efficiency, and profitability of jobs while being involved in production when called upon.
The Restoration Project Manager will serve as a representative of Restoration 1 of Springfield, pro-actively identifying opportunities to procure new business, attract new customers, liaise with existing customers / clients, and exercise sound, independent decision-making in pursuit of these goals.
Actively manage and maintain client accounts, ensuring their satisfaction and continued desire to work with Restoration 1 of Springfield.
The Project Manager is also responsible for the development of Restoration Technicians and the training of new Restoration Technicians to perform up to Company standards
Job Duties
- Direct and manage project development including definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
- Pro-actively identify opportunities to procure new business, attract new customers.
- Establishes and records the scope of work to be accomplished.
- Regularly liaise with existing customers / clients, and exercise sound, independent decision-making to ensure customer satisfaction.
Work with the team, budgets, goals and deliverables that support business goals.
- Estimate and oversee resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
- Identify and manage project needs, communicate project expectations, status of project and possible changes in project scope and other key information.
Preferred Skills, Experience & Requirements
- Mastery of Xactimate estimating software
- Basic understanding of construction and building materials
- Ability to close sales with residential and commercial clients
- Good communicator
- Organize, plan and prioritize work
- Knowledgeable of Local, State and Federal code application and how to determine code requirements
- Knowledge of Industry policies and procedures
- Ability to set goals and monitor them
- Excellent problem solving capabilities
- Conduct themselves in a professional manner
- Minimum of 5 years of experience and knowledge in water, flood, fire, smoke, and mold remediation
- Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
- Strong verbal and written and communication skills
