Job Title : Sterile Processing Technician
Job Location : Milwaukee, WI
Job Duration : 3 Months+
Shift : 3 : 00 PM to 11 : 00 PM shift position with on call and weekend responsibilities as well .
Duties :
- Perform routine tasks related to decontamination, processing, sterilization, and distribution of instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies.
- Operate and monitor cleaning / sterilization equipment.
- Maintain records in compliance with AAMI, AORN, Joint Commission, and OSHA standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills :
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend equipment operating instructions (IFUs) and complete required documentation.
- Basic arithmetic for counting instruments.
- Basic computer skills.
- Problem-solving and good communication skills.
- Certification in Sterile Processing preferred.
- One year of related healthcare experience preferred.
