A day in the life.

As our Senior Data Analyst on the Planning & Analytics for Total Health (PATH) team, you'll be part of a dynamic team working to create healthier work populations for our clients.

You will provide support to the RN Clinical Consultants and Account Executives focusing on data analysis, query and reporting production helping clients understand the impact of healthcare utilization patterns, provide analysis, and assist with recommendations to proactively position the sales & clinical team to create fact-based renewal and risk mitigation strategies and decisions.

Some additional responsibilities include :

  • Actively participating in client facing prospect meetings, new client kick-off meetings, and meetings with existing clients to introduce analytic framework, collect information to support analytic deliverables, and provide analytic consulting.
  • Working closely with implementation, account management, clinical and health management teams to communicate client expectations, set priorities, build reporting, and provide insights into analytic deliverables.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert on analytic topics related to healthcare data.
  • Creating standard and ad hoc reporting to present a polished presentation telling the story of clients' healthcare data, identifying emerging risk within the population's health, reviewing demographic, risk, cost, and utilization trends to identify anomalies and chances for opportunity.
  • Leading training on data warehouse navigation and reporting for account management, clinical, health management, clients and new team members as needed.
  • QA clients' data monthly as data is updated in data warehouse platform to ensure accurate reporting and deliverables.
  • Creating case studies and cohort analysis to present at both internal and external webinars / conferences nationally.

We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills :

  • Minimum 5 years of employee benefits and or / healthcare experience with benefits consultant, broker, health plan, health system or provider group.
  • Previous experience with reporting and analytics platforms. Understanding of key performance measures and indicators that drive reporting and analysis across key data sources, such as medical claims, pharmacy claims, wellness, and other emerging data sources in the benefits space.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with reporting and analytics platforms such as Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
  • Knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience working in a data warehouse environment (Artemis Health, Cotiviti, SCIO, Springbuk or any carrier / TPA platforms).
  • Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.

These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply :

Bachelor's degree or equivalent career experience preferred; preferred degree types : health sciences, information technology, statistics or other related field. Masters preferred.
