The purpose of the Team Member Experience Specialist is to strengthen Credit Acceptance as a great place to work through the creation of innovative and compelling team member-focused events and engagement opportunities within a hybrid work environment.

Outcome and Activities :

This position will work from home; occasional planned travel to an assigned Southfield, Michigan office location may be required.

However, this position is permitted to work at a Southfield, Michigan office location if requested by the team member.

  • Manage a large calendar of events focused on growing our business through our primary customers, our dealers.
  • This role will work closely with the Dealer Success Team to identify and support their needs to create and manage all dealer-focused events and experiences, including, but not limited to :
  • Venue sourcing
  • All event contracting (venue, F&B, AV, activities)
  • Room block management
  • Event material logistics
  • Travel logistic support (event dependent)
  • Understand the needs of the Dealer Success Team to provide thoughtful event recommendations and feedback
  • Internal and external event communication related to the event execution
  • Travel to and execute Dealer Success Group events
  • Collaborate with the Lead Dealer Success Specialist to create event registration pages and name placards for attendees based on final registration lists
  • Serve as dedicated support for district and regional sales events
  • Provides planning and activation support for large-scale company events managed, planned, and executed by the Credit Acceptance Experience Team to include, but not limited to :
  • Ownership of event assets within the larger project :
  • Travel Logistics
  • Decor
  • Activities
  • Event Scheduling
  • Pre-event, post-event and throughout-event communication
  • Event Registration Management
  • On-site set-up / tear-down and event execution (will include travel)
  • Maintains PrideNet corporate travel page details, to include industry trends, travel alerts, hospitality partners
  • Manages corporate travel policy while supporting team members travel needs and requests
  • Maintains a deep knowledge and awareness of team member engagement survey and focus group results and uses this insight to recommend new approaches, changes and improvements to how we create greater camaraderie, connection and collaboration.
  • Fosters relationships with internal stakeholders. Leverage these relationships to continue to understand the needs of the business
  • Delivers strong results on event KPIs, but remains innovative, confident, and flexible to test thoughtful ideas and approaches
  • Seeks out team member feedback and adjusts plans
  • Navigates and leads conversations and meetings with all levels of team members
  • Serves as SME to advise and guide department decisions around engagement and events using skillset, industry knowledge and historical data and feedback
  • Understands and flourishes in an ever-changing landscape of projects and direction as an event professional
  • Continually discovers new industry knowledge by seeking out opportunities to network, learn and share ideas to encourage connection and camaraderie in a hybrid work environment

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of engagement and event experience in a corporate setting
  • Demonstrated ability to manage schedules and budgets
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, above average skills with Excel
  • Ability to travel to meet business needs : up to 10% travel
  • Experience with event registration and event app technology

Preferred :

  • Experience within the automotive industry
  • Experience with B2B event marketing

Targeted Compensation : $65,000 - $71,000 base salary + an annual bonus plan.

This position is not currently open to individuals who require sponsorship now or in the future to work legally for Credit Acceptance, such as H-1b / H-4 or F-1 OPT visa holders.
