This tenure-track position includes % teaching, % research and % service to the department / college. The service portion includes, but is not limited to search committees, review committees and administrative roles within the department and / or College.

The current department teaching load of 2-1 courses per year. The scholar will also do innovative research in the field of Southern Politics and show promise of research excellence and a desire to train and work with a diverse body of students.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements PhD or ABD in political science or related social science and / or computational social science fields;

Show promise of research excellence and a desire to teach and train undergraduate and graduate students. Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience We particularly welcome applications from scholars doing innovative research in the field of Southern American Politics.
