Description :

Seeking a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department.

This facility is a 198-bed, level III trauma center.

Services include medical, surgical, and rehabilitation care.

It features a childbirth center, cancer center, nephrology unit, pediatric unit, inpatient behavioral health unit, day surgery center, and extensive imaging and lab testing services.

The facility is recognized for its beautiful surroundings and has received accolades in healthcare.

Located in a region known for outdoor activities and natural beauty.

The department operates under a team nursing and pod system.

A social worker and unit educator are assigned to the department.

The unit has 48 beds with appropriate flex space.

Patient ratios are 4 : 1 in the main emergency department and 6 : 1 in fast track.

Key equipment includes Zoll defibrillators, blood transfusion and warming devices, ultrasound-guided IV equipment, and an electronic health record system.

The patient population includes individuals with ESRD, cirrhosis, COPD, psychiatric needs, and various other conditions.

Common diagnoses treated include substance abuse disorders, psychological disorders, and abdominal and chest pain.

Two years of emergency department experience is preferred.

This role involves critical care in a fast-paced environment.
