Curtis Power Solutions, a subsidiary of Indel Power Group, has an opening for all levels of Power Generation Field Service Technician at our location in Charlotte, North Carolina.
This individual can be looking to start their career or have previous experience as a technician. Indel Power Group is a distributor / dealer for major brands such as mtu , Daimler / Mercedes, Perkins, PSI Engines, Detroit Diesel, Kohler, Cummins, Caterpillar, and Volvo Penta.

Key Responsibilities
- Basic knowledge of all tools and equipment required to diagnose and repair diesel powered generators.
- Troubleshoot basic operational failures of generator sets and related equipment.
- Determine corrective action through inspection of failed parts.
- Basic knowledge of all tools and equipment required to repair major sub-systems and sub-assemblies.
- Ability to learn new activities and procedures relating to the position (i.e. new technology on new equipment).
- Basic knowledge on warranty periods and guidelines for replacement components.
- Basic computers and electronics knowledge.
- Actively maintains current knowledge of products to associate symptoms or failures to a specific technical bulletin or other published information.
- Graduated from Diesel Engine Technology Program or have relevant field experience in the Electrical or Mechanical industry.
- Comply with all Service Department procedures and practices in a consistent fashion.
- Maintains work area in a safe, orderly, and clean manner.
- Completes necessary documentation.
- Must consistently demonstrate the ability to safely operate all types of pleasure and commercial vehicles / equipment.
