Position : RN-Medical Surgical-Telemetry (Travel / Contract)

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in medical-surgical and telemetry settings.

Monitor and assess patient vital signs and health status regularly.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities.

Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.

Educate patients and families on health management and recovery processes.

Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

Utilize data and metrics to evaluate patient outcomes and improve care.

Contribute to achieving departmental targets and quality improvement initiatives.

Engage in performance reviews and set personal development goals.

Assist in training and mentoring new nursing staff as needed.

Experience / Qualifications

Current RN license in Pennsylvania and BLS certification required.

Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development and training.

Experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing settings preferred.

Knowledge of safety and infection control protocols essential.

Willingness to engage in performance reviews and set personal goals.

Strong ability to monitor and assess patient health status effectively.

Proficiency in documenting patient care activities accurately and timely.

Capacity to educate patients and families on health management.
