Zebulon Animal Hospital is a general practice Hospital serving Zebulon, NC, and the surrounding communities. We are seeking an experienced veterinary assistant / technician to join our team.
Assistant / Technician duties would include, but are not limited to :
- Taking histories and providing initial client education
- Assisting with surgical procedures and patient monitoring
- Care of hospitalized patients
- Daily callbacks to clients
- Restraining patients
- Assisting in taking radiographs
- Giving IV & IM injections
- Dispensing controlled drugs
- Placing IV catheters and maintaining feeding tubes and urinary catheters
- Performing cytologies
- Following opening / closing procedures for the hospital
- Performing routine cleaning
Candidates should possess at least 1 year of experience. Cornerstone experience is a plus. We are seeking detail-oriented candidates with strong abilities in communication and multitasking.
Candidates must be able to maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment. EOE

Monday thru Friday 7 : 30 am - 5 : 30 pm
Saturday 8 : 00 am - 12 : 00 pm
Closed on Sunday
