job summary :
An Inside Plant and Design Support Engineer is needed for an American social media conglomerate corporation in the Denver, CO area.
This position involves managing and designing inside plant infrastructure for a global network, including space, power, and cooling, collaborating with company operators and providing proactive capacity planning.
responsibilities :
- Execute global space and power planning and design function in POP / CLS / ILAs.
- Engage in system level facility sizing / consultation of Utilities, Switchgear, UPS / DC Power Plant, PDUs, mechanical cooling, and LV distribution.
- Manage global space, power, cabling, and other inside plant infrastructure requirements.
- Provide a multi-year proactive plan for space, power, cooling, and infrastructure requirements.
- Present optimized layout of edge site floorplans and allocate space for network functions.
- Deliver Engineering Design Packages related to site infrastructure scope.
- Provide input and collaborate with other teams on space / power requirements and deployment projects.

- Minimum 10+ years of experience in company Planning and Design.
- Preferred Mechanical or Electrical Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
