ACCOUNTS PAYABLE Specialist / Clerk (Portland, OR area)
Just in last week from a local Commercial General Contractor! Now setting up conversations with Construction ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALISTS in Portland, OR .
Seeking someone who can direct and process vendor and subcontract payables while directing a positive experience and developing long-term relationships.
Success in this role will need timely communication with various personality types at all levels of an organization, subcontractors and vendors.
Responsibilities for Accounts Payable Role :
- Coordinating and processing all accounts payable vendor invoices through the eCMS accounting system check issuance
- Ensure that all related accounts payable transactions are processed accurately, timely, and in compliance with established policies and procedures
- Entry of new vendors, new job budget set up, and job budget revisions
- Monthly processing of corporate visa cards
- Monthly bank reconciliations
- Report reconciliation between Procore job cost and eCMS job cost
- W9 collection and annual 1099 processing
Experience & Qualifications for Accounts Payable Role :
- Would like 2-year degree (but not required with previous applicable experience)
- 2+ yrs. experience working in accounts payable in the construction industry
- Attention to accuracy and detail is paramount
- Great organizational and problem-solving skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Procore experience is a big plus!
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
