Founded by CRISPR inventors and leading molecular engineers Benjamin Oakes, Brett Staahl, David Savage, and Jennifer Doudna, Scribe is overcoming the limitations of current genome editing technologies by developing custom engineered enzymes and delivery modalities as part of a proprietary, evergreen CRISPR by Design platform for CRISPR-based genetic medicine.
Scribe Therapeutics is seeking a candidate with experience in formulation and downstream processing of lipid nanoparticles and biophysical assessment of the LNP systems.
The candidate will join as a Research Associate II with the Process Sciences team to develop formulations for its CRISPR by Design platform.
The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of lipid nanoparticle formulations by various mixing and downstream processing techniques.
Key Responsibilities :
- Formulate and characterize lipid nanoparticle (LNP) formulations both at small and large scales.
- Assist team to generate LNP formulations for in-house and R&D requirements.
- Data analysis using statistical software such as GraphPad PRISM, JMP, etc.
- Effectively collaborate within various groups and map out future needs and manage procurement of materials.
- Maintain detailed records of experimental protocols and data in electronic laboratory notebook.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as required will be assigned based on the needs of the team.
