Job Title : Electrical Engineer
Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead and guide our team in executing electrical engineering projects.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing all phases of project development, from initial planning and design through construction and project closeout.
Your primary objective will be to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :
Design and Planning :
Develop comprehensive electrical engineering designs and project plans.
Collaborate with architects, urban planners, and other professionals to integrate project requirements.
Review and refine project plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
Site Assessment and Feasibility :
Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate project viability.
Analyze site conditions and determine project constraints and opportunities.
Regulatory Compliance and Permitting :
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Prepare and submit necessary permit applications and documentation.
Cost Estimation and Budget Management :
Prepare accurate cost estimates and develop project budgets.
Monitor expenditures and track project costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities where possible.
Construction Management and Supervision :
Oversee construction activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
Manage relationships with contractors and subcontractors, including procurement and scheduling.
Conduct site inspections and quality control checks as needed.
Risk Assessment and Mitigation :
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Address issues related to construction delays, budget overruns, and regulatory compliance.
Project Documentation and Reporting :
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including drawings, reports, and correspondence.
Prepare progress reports and updates for stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and challenges.
Compile as-built documentation and final project records for client handover.
Client and Stakeholder Communication :
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.
Provide regular updates on project status, addressing any client concerns to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Professional Engineer (PE) license (MO required; additional states preferred).
Proven experience in managing engineering projects from conception to completion.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and relevant software tools.
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and building codes.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
