What You’ll Be Doing :
- Evaluate residents' abilities to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Create and run therapy sessions to help people with physical, cognitive, or emotional challenges.
- Collaborate with residents, families, and the care team to set some awesome therapy goals .
- Teach caregivers and staff how to integrate therapeutic activities into daily routines.
- Keep track of residents' progress to ensure they’re getting the support they need.
- Spread the love and embrace diversity making everyone feel welcome.
- Join forces with the team to improve therapy services and keep them as cool as they are!
What You Bring :
- A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- A license to practice Occupational Therapy in Ohio this one’s a must!
- The ability to figure things out and stay focused on helping people.
- A friendly, communicative personality everyone should feel happy and included around you.
- Experience working with older adults and those needing extra support is a bonus.
