DESCRIPTION :
The Digital Design Internship is an opportunity for individuals to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic agency environment, working on a wide variety of digital design projects.
This role provides the chance to enhance skills in design software, apply foundational design principles, and understand the administration and project management behind high-quality digital work.
Software Knowledge & Skill Development : Develop proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and others relevant to digital design.
Apply design principles like typography, color theory, and layout across various project types and aesthetics.Design Administration : Manage and organize digital assets (images, fonts, templates) ensuring efficient tagging and storage for quick retrieval.
Use collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Google Meet, Email) to stay aligned with team members and manage project workflows.
Branded Work & Presentation Design : Support branded output by working on small-scale projects such as social media posts and presentation design.
Maintain and apply the company's brand guidelines consistently in all design work.Shadowing & Process Improvement : Shadow senior designers and contribute to client projects, absorbing best practices and methodologies.
Identify areas for design improvements and propose new creative concepts.Contribute to documentation of design processes and help refine workflow best practices.
Collaboration & Cross-functional Work : Collaborate with cross-functional teams in marketing, development, or HR, ensuring that design aligns with broader business goals.
REQUIREMENTS : Must be enrolled in a University or Master's program.Must be available for a minimum of 12 hours per week, and a maximum of 16 hours per week.
Must be available between January 22nd and May 15th. Internships begin January 22nd, 2025.Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design, or a related field.
Knowledge and skillset using Figma.Strong interest in digital design and a desire to learn about the agency environment.Familiarity with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma is a plus.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
Independently manage small deliverables (e.g., social media posts, presentation decks) from design to completion.
COMPENSATION :
This internship is unpaid. School credit can be provided.
