Position Summary :
To ensure the residents receive their oral, topical, eye, nose, and ears prescription medications, insulin injections and epinephrine injections according to the home’s policies and procedures.
Assist with the care needs of the residents. Supervise the direct care staff. Assign assignments for the staff. Ensure that the home has proper staffing for the needs of all residents.
Education Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma).
Current LPN PA License in good standing.
Essential Function :
Setting up, administering and documenting resident medications, treatments, and skin care. Helping assist the residents with their routines.
Engage with the residents and their families. Other job duties as assigned.
Physical Demands :
Being able to stand, sit and walk for extended period of times. Assist residents with their ADL’s, ambulation and transfers.
Be able to lift 50 lbs. Push and pull 50 lbs. Be able to bend over to assist with residents needs and to make beds.
