About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Pediatric ER Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 3x12-Hour (07 : 00 - 19 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : 2 years License : CA RN License Certifications : AHA BLS Must-Have : Ability to work in a float pool and adapt to NICU / PICU environments Job Description : Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in the emergency room setting.
- Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and develop care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.- Adapt quickly to different units, including NICU and PICU, as part of the float pool responsibilities.
- Maintain patient safety and confidentiality at all times.- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Demonstrate proficiency in pediatric emergency care procedures and protocols.- Uphold infection control practices and adhere to facility policies and guidelines.
- Participate in orientation and continuing education to ensure up-to-date clinical skills.
