Position Overview :
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Manager to lead our team at Butcher and the Bear. The ideal candidate will be a passionate and dedicated professional with a strong background in restaurant management and a deep appreciation for exceptional food and service.
As the FOH Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities :
- Leadership : Provide effective leadership and direction to the restaurant team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Guest Experience : Ensure that guests receive outstanding service and have a memorable dining experience, consistently meeting and exceeding their expectations.
- Staff Management : Recruit, train, and develop a skilled and motivated team. Set performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
- Financial Management : Manage the restaurant's budget, control costs, and maximize profitability. Monitor and report on financial performance regularly.
- Quality Control : Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Inventory and Procurement : Oversee inventory management and procurement of high-quality ingredients and supplies.
- Marketing and Promotion : Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional strategies to drive customer traffic and revenue growth.
- Guest Relations : Build and maintain strong relationships with regular customers and solicit feedback to continuously improve the dining experience.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a FOH Manager in a high-end restaurant or steakhouse setting.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.
- Knowledge of industry trends and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
- A commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality and service.
- Food safety and sanitation certification is a plus.
