Maintenance Manager
Responsibilities :
- Prioritize multiple demands and allocate resources based on input from Operations, HSES, and Engineering
- Set clear expectations for maintenance employees and ensure they are met
- Champion change management for safety, environmental stewardship, and productivity
- Role model company values and cultivate a supportive environment
- Implement processes to maximize employee productivity aligned with organizational goals
- Provide leadership through coaching, development, and accountability
- Develop and manage the M&R budget to meet cost targets
- Enhance maintenance organizational capabilities for reliability and cost performance
- Collaborate with Procurement to select Equipment Vendors and define spare parts strategy
- Drive the reliability program at the site
Qualifications :
- Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering Discipline, with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience (preferably in chemical industry), and at least 5 years of managerial experience
- Demonstrates high emotional intelligence, fostering relationships and engaging employees across all levels to foster improvements
- Exhibits exceptional leadership abilities evident in coaching, developing, and holding employees accountable
- Possesses strong judgment and analytical skills to manage risks effectively
- Shows a passion for leading change in health, safety, and environmental stewardship
- Familiarity with OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM)
- Proficiency in SAP is a must
- Experience in a unionized plant environment is preferred
