About The Position
Job Title : Radiology Technologist - Rad Tech Job Specialty : Imaging Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Variable, 40 Hours Guaranteed Hours : 40 Experience : 1+ year preferred, will accept first-time travelers License : ME State License Certifications : BLS, ARRT (R) required Must-Have : - OR / C-arm experience - Experience with varied patient types - Fluoroscopy experience preferred Job Description : - Work Mon-Fri, 7 AM to 4 PM with rotation for covering PTO, potentially including evenings and weekends - Engage in call rotations during weekends - Perform imaging in outpatient, inpatient, ED / ICU / MedSurg, and operating room environments - Primarily handle adult / geriatric care with some pediatrics - Conduct 25-30 scans per day on average - Utilize EMR : Cerner and PACS : Enterprise Imaging AGFA - Operate equipment including Siemens, T-Rad, Cannon Ultimax Hybrid C-arm, Phillips C-arm, Portable Siemens, GE AMX 4, and a Mini C-arm for ortho scans - Float to fixed location other than OR or portables for inpatient scans - Participate in a 1-1.
5 week orientation, based on experience / comfort level - Collaborate with department support including a lead tech, internal transport, and an on-site radiologist - Follow professional protocol in scrub color attire and adhere to holiday scheduling / duties in rotation with colleagues - Manage 7-week schedules, with specific shifts communicated prior to assignment
