Service Advisor Compensation and Benefits :
- Compensation : $48,000 - $150,000 per year
- Health Insurance
Four quality health insurance plans are offered with coverage provided by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona.
Both HSA (Health Savings Account) and PPO (Preferred Provider Organization) plans are available as options.
Full time employees are eligible on the first day of the month following 60 days of employment.
Dental Insurance
Two levels of dental coverage are available and offered through SunLife.
Full time employees are eligible on the first day of the month following 60 days of employment.
Vision Insurance
Vision coverage is available and offered through SightCare.
Full time employees are eligible on the first day of the month following 60 days of employment.
Retirement Plan
A 401(k) retirement plan is offered with a 1% employer match for employees who contribute at least 1% of total compensation.
All employees are eligible on the first day of the calendar quarter after completing 6 months of employment.
Sick Leave
Paid time off may be used as sick leave pay.
Vacation
Full time employees receive 40 hours (5 days) of paid time off for the first two years of employment.
2 - 5 years of employment : 80 hours (10 days) 6 years of employment : 88 hours (11 days) 7 years of employment : 96 hours (12 days) 8 years of employment : 104 hours (13 days) 9 years of employment : 112 hours (14 days) 10 or more years of employment : 120 hours (15 days) Up to 40 hours of unused PTO can be rolled over into the following year.

We observe the following holidays featuring holiday pay : New Year's Day (January 1st) Memorial Day (Last Monday in May) Independence Day (July 4th) Labor Day (First Monday in September) Thanksgiving Day (Fourth Thursday in November) Christmas Day (December 25th)

Henry Brown Buick GMC provides every employee with paid life insurance coverage of $10,000 along with accidental death and dismemberment insurance coverage up to $10,000.

Service Advisor Responsibilities :
- Greet customers promptly
- Obtain customer and vehicle information
- Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
- Determine and recommend maintenance base on age, mileage and history of vehicle
- Consult with technicians about needed repairs and alternatives that can be offered in place of expensive repairs
- Answer customer questions about service outcomes and consult with technicians when necessary
- Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
- Initiate and manage repair claims with extended service contract companies as needed
- Establish follow up time
- Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently
- Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
- Explain all completed work and charges to customers
- Complete training as required
Service Advisor Requirements :
- Proven record of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction
- Past experience as a service advisor, assistant lane manager or service consultant
- Very energetic personality
- Ability to multitask effectively

- Computer skills and willingness to learn new programs
