JCW has partnered with a growing Consulting firm looking to expand their Design team with a Structural Engineer. This person will be responsible for investigating and managing claims of construction defects.

This is a remote position requiring some travel around Sarasota County - must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist staff in conducting condition assessments to determine necessary repairs of damaged structural systems
  • Develop project outlines for forensic investigations / testing for construction claims
  • Work with attorneys in the preparation of construction defect claims

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
  • Professional Engineering (P.E.) license required, or must be Registered Architect
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD systems
