Structural Engineer - Forensic Analysis
JCW has partnered with a growing Consulting firm looking to expand their Design team with a Structural Engineer. This person will be responsible for investigating and managing claims of construction defects.
This is a remote position requiring some travel around Sarasota County - must have reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Assist staff in conducting condition assessments to determine necessary repairs of damaged structural systems
- Develop project outlines for forensic investigations / testing for construction claims
- Work with attorneys in the preparation of construction defect claims
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) license required, or must be Registered Architect
- Proficiency in AutoCAD systems
