About The Position
Job Title : Surgical Technician Job Specialty : Technician Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : AM, 10.00 Hours Guaranteed Hours : Experience : License : Certifications : Must-Have : Job Description : - Assist surgeons and surgical teams during operations.
- Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment. - Ensure that the operating room environment is safe, equipment functions properly, and the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety.
- Maintain a sterile field and ensure adherence to aseptic techniques. - Help in draping patients and passing sterile instruments and supplies to the surgeon during operation procedures.
- Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after the operation. - Assist in maintaining constant communication with team members regarding the progress of the surgical procedure.
- Support team members with safe transfer and positioning of patients in the operating room. - Ensure timely and accurate documentation of procedures and tasks.
- Contribute to a positive and healthy work environment by adhering to policies and procedures.
