Aircraft Inspector IV
Duration : 12-month Contract-to-Hire
Location : Hagerstown, MD
Max Pay : $35.00-48.00
Qualifications (Must-Have)
- Active, current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification
- Advanced knowledge of aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment, and parts
- Strong experience with product audit and inspection processes and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
- High school diploma or GED and 10+ years of relevant experience (degree may substitute; related experience may be considered)
Preferred
Understanding of 14 CFR Chapter 1Experience in civil / government aviation inspection operations or FAA Repair Station operationsInspection Authorization (IA) designation and / or first article inspections experiencePrior experience with aircraft modificationsBackground in Aerospace & Defense, US Department of Defense, or US MilitaryDuties
Inspect aircraft, systems, equipment, and parts to ensure airworthiness and compliance with manufacturer specifications and government regulationsPerform in-process and final inspections and approve aircraft for return to serviceIdentify and report any breach of standards for airworthinessPhysical / Mental / Emotional Requirements
