As an Electrical Engineer your most important qualities will be :

  • Program and Debug VFD, PLC and operator interfaces.
  • Programs Codesys, SQL, Ladder Logic
  • Experience with Industrial Power Drive
  • Familiar with NFPA 70- National Electric Code
  • ULMTR Certification - UL Licensing company will pay for you to get it, if they don’t have it.
  • UL / CE / CSA - Familiar with the requirements
  • Familiar with ETC Program
  • Familiar with Power Systems Design
  • Troubleshooting in manufacturing and over the phone with customer
  • Customer interface experience

Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components, ensuring adherence to industry standards and customer needs.

Tasks include creating electrical schematics, power distribution designs, control systems, component selection, and feasibility studies.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers and technicians, to integrate electrical systems into products, driving innovation and implementing cost-effective solutions.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and technical evaluations to ensure electrical systems' optimal performance, reliability, and safety.

Analyze test data, propose design improvements, and modify designs as needed.

  • Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including specifications, design reports, and user manuals, ensuring compliance with codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Work with internal teams (manufacturing, sales, customer service) to provide technical support, resolve electrical issues, and assist with customer inquiries and product demonstrations.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field required . Previous experience in electrical system design, especially in manufacturing, is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical principles, including circuit design, power distribution, and control systems. Proficiency in CAD software and electrical design tools is essential.
