Residential & Commercial Projects in MA & NH

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team and work on bids for both residential and commercial projects. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing comprehensive estimates and proposals for clients and client-owned projects.

Projects include both residential and commercial builds and rehabbing existing structures. A vehicle or mileage will be provided.

Role :

• Prepare detailed estimates from bid walks, construction documents (CDs), and statements of work (SOW), including labor, materials, equipment, subcontractor quotes, profit, overhead, and taxes.
• Attend bid walks with customers, capturing necessary photos, notes, and measurements.
• Identify required subcontractors and in-house resources for project execution.
• Review plans, specifications, and bid documentation to ensure accurate project estimates.
• Break down labor and materials for all phases of construction.
• Perform material takeoffs and obtain necessary pricing.
• Distribute plans, photos, and bid walk notes to subcontractors or construction managers.
• Prepare and ensure the accuracy and completeness of bids.
• Submit the final proposal to the customer.
