Knowledge and Experience :

  • Bachelor's Degree required in Business Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience in project management or contract management and contract compliance.
  • Proven ability to understand contractual obligations and the impacts on the business coupled with client management experience.
  • Experience supporting successful project delivery, including communicating progress and risks to key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated capability to influence and facilitate buy-in with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to build effective professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to solicit input from senior directors and managers and to work across functions / departments and shareholders to drive business outcomes.
  • Experience with data analytics and familiarity with a variety of analytical tools.

Key Accountabilities :

Contract Management

  • Manage the delivery and reporting of contractual reports and obligations listed within the Operating Agreement
  • Skilled in analyzing large amounts of data to provide value-added insights to business stakeholders
  • Leverage data analytics and reporting tools for current contractual reports, automating contractual reporting where possible
  • Support the business with the delivery of service changes and proposals and the management of concurrence letters
  • Clear understanding of the principles of business development and the interaction between contracts, operations, and commercial outcomes
  • Provide a consistent and transparent approach to sharing information with the MBTA
  • Facilitate collaboration across the teams within the business

Business Planning

  • Support the management of the current KCS business plan, including tracking progress on KPIs and actions and identifying risks to key business plan actions
  • Coordinate and facilitate future business planning activities, such as conducting internal workshop sessions and overseeing the production of key business plan materials
  • Leveraging analytical tools and automation to enhance business plan reporting reporting
  • Tracking the business plan project budget and periodic budget reporting to KCS leadership

Must pass a physical examination.
