About The Position
Job Title : Certified Surgical First Assistant Job Specialty : Operating Room Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Days, 8 hours (6 : 45 AM - 3 : 15 PM) Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum 3 years of current CSFA experience License : NBSTSA (NCCT not accepted) Certifications : BLS (AHA), NBSTSA Must-Have : - Willingness to take call as needed - Availability for every other weekend and holidays as needed - A personal vehicle for commuting - At least two specific interview dates / times available Job Description : Assist in the operating room with various surgical procedures across multiple specialties.
- Uphold high standards of patient care and maintain patient safety during surgical procedures.- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth operation flow and efficient use of resources.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations, including COVID-19 vaccination or exemption with mask-wearing.- Participate in required orientation sessions and complete all necessary background checks promptly.
- Manage unexpected scenarios calmly and effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to the surgical process.- Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and possess strong communication skills.
- Provide documentation and complete necessary administrative tasks as required by the facility.- Be prepared to work flexible hours, including the possibility of call shifts and holiday coverage.
