OverviewJob Description

The VP Digital Transformation - Procurement will be responsible for leading the organization's digital transformation journey and ensuring operational excellence in our sourcing and procurement operations.

The individual will be a key member of the Procurement & Sourcing senior leadership team and will be responsible for managing Process, Risk Resilience, Governance, Data Analytics & Governance and Operations for Sourcing and Procurement while acting as Chief of Staff to the Chief Procurement Officer.

This Role Reports Directly To The Chief Procurement Officer

  • Lead the organization's digital transformation journey to be world class, by driving technology adoption, change management, and digital innovation.
  • Develop and implement a data-driven culture across the sourcing and procurement organization, leveraging analytics to optimize our operations and drive better business outcomes.
  • Develop and implement governance policies and standards to ensure data quality, security, and compliance across our sourcing and procurement operations.
  • Implement and manage process improvement initiatives to streamline our procurement and sourcing operations, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Manage and mitigate risks related to procurement and sourcing operations, and implement strategies to improve resilience in the face of disruptions.
  • Provide operational oversight for sourcing and procurement operations, ensuring that our processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with our strategic objectives.
  • Act as Chief of Staff to the Chief Procurement Officer, providing strategic and operational support to enable effective decision-making and leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field. MBA or relevant master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in digital transformation and operations management, with a focus on sourcing and procurement operations.
  • Proven experience in managing complex digital transformation initiatives, including technology adoption and change management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive business outcomes.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of procurement regulations and standards, including risk management, compliance, and governance.
  • Experience in project management, process improvement, and operational excellence methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile.
  • Experience in leading a world class Digital Transformation & Operations organization.
