Accounting Manager
Are you a skilled and experienced accounting professional with a passion for technical expertise and a drive for excellence?
We are seeking a talented individual to join our valued client as a Technical Accounting Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining global accounting policies, serving as a key technical resource for complex accounting requirements and the implementation of new accounting standards and updates.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will play a crucial role in shaping our financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant of experience with 2+ years' experience in a position of leadership.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in audit / compliance.
- Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) License is preferred.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and IFRS.
Responsibilities :
- Research and document accounting treatment for complex accounting matters.
- Establish, maintain, and communicate robust global accounting and other business policies.
- Act as a subject matter expert, educating accounting and finance personnel, as well as other business leaders, to build and enhance awareness of various accounting requirements.
- Gain in-depth understanding of the company's operations, business strategies, and processes.
- Partner with Internal Audit and ICFR teams to monitor business compliance with GAAP and the company's global accounting policies.
- Coordinate and lead the implementation of accounting standards updates.
- Assist and coordinate with external audit on annual audits and interim reviews.
- Support other accounting and financial reporting needs.
- Undertake ad hoc projects as needed.
Our client is offering a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, paid time off, as well as an annual salary of $100,000-115,000 commensurate with experience.
