A company is looking for a Sales Tax Manager to oversee sales and use tax compliance and reporting while working from home.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the Indirect Tax Function, including the filing of sales and use, GST, and property tax returns
Maintain tax systems for compliance and reporting, recommending changes for efficiency
Analyze new legislation and manage sales tax audits with state tax authorities
Required Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
Several years of experience in sales / use taxation
Strong knowledge of multi-state sales and use tax laws and compliance requirements
Proficiency in tax compliance software and ER systems (e.g., Oracle, OneSource)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant tax technology tools
