Electronic Technologists perform installation, replacement, repair and troubleshooting maintenance of electric circuitry associated with production and facility equipment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Hook up power, lighting and temperature controls(switch, lights, relays, etc.).
2. Determine appropriate components, wire size,protective covering and wiring layout.
3. Diagnose problems quickly to identify the causesof problems and determine effective courses of action to avoid extended periods of equipmentdowntime.
Report serious trouble toSupervisor in a timely manner to expedite additional resources as needed.
4. Ordersupplies as required.
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.
S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
YOU MUST HAVE
1. Must have a Minnesota Journeyman’s License.
2. Must understand Ohms Law, read blueprints, wiringdiagrams and schematic drawings.
3. Ability to work with advanced mathematics, alltypes of circuit drawings and test equipment.
4. Training and / or experience working with thefollowing :
Programmable LogicControllers
Variable Frequency Drives
Automation Controls
Microsoft Applications(Word, Excel)
5. Employeesmay be required to successfully complete location specific training to maintaineligibility for the position.
