Healing Hands Hospice Care Inc. is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team. This person is responsible for assisting physicians while providing treatment to patients with a variety of medical conditions.

He / she will administer medication, monitor and record patient progress, and educate families and the patient as needed.

The ideal candidate will display compassion, education, proficiency and experience while assisting the patient. This critical role assists in creating and managing nursing care plans and will participate in the evaluation of current and future medical needs of the patient.

Duties and Responsibilities :

The registered nurse plans, organizes and directs hospice care and is experienced in nursing, with emphasis on community health education / experience.

The professional nurse builds from the resources of the community to plan and direct services to meet the needs of individuals and families within their homes and communities.

Essential Functions :

• Assess and monitor patients' health status, including vital signs and medical history.
• Administer medications and injections as prescribed by physicians.
• Perform diagnostic evaluations and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients.
• Educate patients and their families on health management, pain management strategies, and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements :

• Graduate of a National League of Nursing accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure in State and CPR certification.
• Management experience not required. Responsible for supervising hospice aides.
• Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state / or

organization requirements and is in good working order.

Basic computer skills including Microsoft word, e-mail and EMR system.

Job Type : Part-time

Pay : $100 - $350 per visit
