Pentec Health is hiring a home health infusionRegistered Nurse in Cumming / Buford GA. You will have the ability tocreate your own schedule to meet patients needs while travelingwithin the area (possibly up to 200 miles).

This is a full time permanentposition.

In this role you will meet the needsof patients with implanted intrathecal drug delivery devicesthrough comprehensive patient assessments nursing interventionspump refills dose adjustments and patient education.

Patient visits may be outside the home in hospitalsclinics or other settings thus a non remoterole .

Pentec Healthprovides a comprehensive compensation and full benefits package. The estimated fulltime base annual salary isanywhere from $80000 $85000 .

Actual salary will be based onseveral factors such as qualifications and skills for the role plusgeographic location.

Essential Elements :

  • Nursing care is reviewed andadapted accordingly to facilitate mutually agreed upon goals.Policies procedures and standards of care are guided by the nursingprocess and nurse practice standards through a shared governancemodel.
  • All TDD Specialist Nurses will beprovided the ANCC accredited Nurse Fellowship Program uponhire.
  • Tailors education to meet eachpatients / caregivers healthcare literacy. Educates patients andcaregivers on a healthy life style and promotes informeddecisions.
  • Promotes integrative caretechniques to assist the patient with symptom management to improvequality of life.
  • Completes all requireddocumentation accurately and within the required timeframe as wellas communicate with members of the multidisciplinaryteam.
  • Responsible for all elements of thenursing process including assessment nursing diagnosisoutcomes / planning implementation and evaluation for eachpatient.
  • Collaborates with the prescribingPhysician patient and their caregivers as needed.
  • Maintains patient records in compliance with state HIPAAand TJC requirements.
  • Actively participates inShared Governance and integrates evidence based research into theirpractice accordingly.

SkillsCompetencies and Experience Required :

  • Must have 3 years of RNexperience and 24 / 7 accountability as needed.
  • Demonstrate the skill and ability required for completionof Intrathecal Nurse Fellowship Orientation program.
  • Strong written and verbal communication customer serviceand organization skills.
  • Ability to workindependently and be a resourceful proactive problemsolver.
  • Exhibits accurate critical thinkingand ability to quickly assess and react to changes in patientconditions. Understands the criteria for standard versus urgentresponse.
  • Ability to work in a remote homeoffice and maintain productive therapeutic boundaries.
  • Demonstrates teamwork through the ability to work welland communicate effectively with members of the health careteam.
  • Must be CPR certified or have theability to be certified.

Preferred :

  • ICU / ER / OR and / orhome care experience preferred.
  • Solidunderstanding of chronic pain / rehab principles.

EducationCertifications Trainings :

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and the abilityto become licensed in another state if needed.

Equipment Required :

  • Intermediate computer skillswith programs such as Microsoft Office Suite : Outlook Adobe PDFWord Excel Power Point TEAMs
  • Knowledge ofsmart phones.

  • The employee must frequently lift and / ormove up to 5 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 40pounds.
  • Ability to perform CPR continuously inan emergency situation according to American Heart / American RedCross standards.
