Director of Manufacturing
Under the general supervision of the Vice President of Manufacturing, performs all responsibilities necessary to drive assigned plant performance objectives related to the overall quality of production, production efficiency, safety, and morale of all assigned employees.
The overall objective being the production of products of the highest possible quality at the lowest possible cost, in a clean and safe environment and within budgetary guidelines.

Assumes responsibility for the accomplishment of the above general objectives through the recruitment, supervision, training, and development of employees at all levels of the organization.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants for this position must, as a minimum, possess :
- A BS degree in a technical field (Mechanical or Plastics Engineering preferred).
- At least 6 years of increasingly responsible experience in the management of supervisory and production personnel in a manufacturing environment and demonstrated leadership capability.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- The ability to read, write and speak in the English language at a level of competency that is sufficient to enable them to meet all of the communications requirements related to the position.
- The necessary credentials and identification to allow them to demonstrate their ability to legally work in a manufacturing environment in the United States.
- Visual acuity that is sufficient to read all necessary work-related materials and to visually identify defects in products being produced.
- A working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Access.
