DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES RESOURCE CENTER (DDRC) : WHO WE ARE?
DDRC is a 501(c)3 Colorado nonprofit organization located in Lakewood Colorado whose mission is serving children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and providing support to their families.
YOUR ROLE AS AN EI ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF SERVICE COORDINATION
As the EI Assistant Director of Service Coordination at DDRC, you will help lead the Early Intervention Team to deliver high-quality service coordination to children aged 0-3.
Your responsibilities will encompass participating in hiring and supervising Service Coordinators and other related roles, leading and motivating the team through a collaborative model, and providing oversight to all aspects of service coordination work.
You will also direct and manage budget planning and administrative functions in collaboration with the EI Director and will serve as a liaison with applicable School District Child Find Office and other community agencies.
You will work closely with the EI Director and the EI Assistant Director of Therapies to ensure the program adheres to all governing body rules and regulations while achieving Child and Family outcomes and managing ongoing data relevant to EI indicators.
Additionally, you will take on extra duties as assigned by the EI Director, including stepping in during their absence. This is a new and exciting opportunity for those looking to make a significant impact in the field of Early Intervention Service Coordination.

Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities across all areas of Early Intervention Service Coordination is critical for this role.
Familiarity with the transdisciplinary service delivery model, adult coaching approaches, and Part C regulations is imperative, as is experience working within an Early Intervention or Early Childhood Program that serves families of children with developmental delays or disabilities.
This combination of qualifications will ensure the successful execution of the program's goals and objectives.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are :
5 years' experience in EI Service Coordination (or Case Management) and a bachelor's in human services or related field such as Psychology, Social Work, Special Education Administration or Behavior Sciences.
Multiple levels of progressively advancing management experience within EI service coordination and a bachelor's degree in another field of study may be considered in lieu of a Human Services related field.
- Requires demonstrated leadership and management in all areas of Early Intervention Services.
- Required experience working within an Early Intervention or Early Childhood Program serving families of children with developmental delays / disabilities.
- Knowledge of the transdisciplinary service delivery model and Part C required. At minimum of 3 years supervisory experience required.
