Naval Release Train Engineer

The Opportunity :

As a Release Train Engineer ( RTE ) , you’re passionate about outcomes and supporting a development team that’s modernizing and creating efficiency in critical projects.

You know the importance of Agile best practices and how to combat challenges early to get work done. We need an RTE like you to create solutions that’ll support our warfighters.

On our team, you’ll apply your functional knowledge to coach a development team to focus on sprint goals, ensuring the project progresses successfully.

You’ll apply scrum principles and concepts to resolve routine problems. Using tools like ServiceNow, you’ll strengthen sustainable process improvements to help your team accomplish Program Increment Objectives and Features.

In this role, you’ll directly impact the Naval environment by working alongside our clients to deliver impactful solutions.

This is an opportunity to grow your experience in IT and Agile project management developing and contributing to a variety of project solutions that will ensure success for the delivery of services in support of the warfighter.

You Have :

  • 3+ years of experience in Department of Defense ( DoD ) engineering and science management, operations research analysis, or finan cia l and cost analysis
  • Experience as an RTE serving multiple teams and providing tasking and prioritization
  • Experience with SAFe, Kanban, or Lean-Agile processes and methodologies, along with Agile sof tware project management tools, including ServiceNow
  • Experience as a Scrum Master, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and Program Increment ( PI ) planning
  • Ability to facilitate and coach a team to better outcomes using process improvement te chn iques
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience with business intelligence ( BI ) tools and monitoring Key Performance Indicators ( KPI )
  • RTE Certification
  • Certified Scrum Master ( CSM ) Certification
  • SAFe Program Consultant Certification
  • Project Management Professional ( PMP ) Certification
  • ITIL Foundations Certification

Clearance :

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ;

Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
